1. My CPE will not provide clock, will the Flanger provide clock?

   Yes. The Flanger can be configured to generate its own internal DS1 clock.

2. How do I upgrade from one DS1 port to multiple DS1 ports?

   The DS1 ports on a Flanger can be enabled by entering a unique software key. Please contact the Distributor or Reseller where you purchased your Flanger at. Make sure that you have the serial numbers for the units you want to update.

3. I am unsure about whether or not my CPE is providing DS1 clock or if the Flanger needs to provide DS1 clock.

   In the case where the equipment is providing clock - you should set the master and slave at MODE2 and MODE4. Or if from Flanger MODE1 and MODE4. This is taking into consideration that you need to run all channels independently. If set at default or MODE2 and MODE3 then four ports take clocking from DS1 port one. If port one fails then all ports fail.

4. What is the default username and password for accessing the Flanger web page and CLI (Command Line Interface)?

   Default username : admin Default password : admin
