Memorylink's FLEXX provides a simple and cost-effective expansion of wireless networks, delivering service to potential end-customers outside of the current coverage range.
These potential customers may simply be located beyond the line-of-site (LOS) of the Access Point (AP) or AP cluster, or within range, but in a coverage dead-zone, blocked by man-made or natural obstructions. In such cases, the FLX100N can be deployed with a connected Subscriber Module (SM) at an intermediate location within range of both the end-customer, and the AP or AP cluster. By connecting one or more additional AP's to the FLX100N at a non-interfering frequency, your coverage area can be expanded, and bandwidth essentially extended, to capture new customer revenue opportunities.
The FLEXX FLX100N series utilizes a Nema4X / UL508 outdoor rated enclosure and is designed to be mounted outdoors within close proximity to the connected SM. The FLX100N comes with a power supply that sends its nonstandard Power-Over-CAT5 to the FLX100N, and eliminates the need for individual power supplies for each FLX100N-connected device. This allows for a quick, easy deployment in a variety of situations.
